Trying to change a game based on your ideas around "i" seems to me to be similar to trying to change someone's fundamental perspectives on life and the world around them, it's extremely hard and you'll never get them to agree with you 100% because personal perspectives are born from life chemical wiring and the life experiences which lay cable and redirect current.

I probably read books, watch movies and television shows and play video games for at least slightly different reasons and with at least a slightly different mindset than anyone else in this thread, and all of our perspectives will change over time as well so it seems ill advised to attempt to use "i" as an argument towards a change. "i" is purely a matter of opinion, even when the level of 4th wall demolition is Deadpool tier simply because someone can find that to be enough for them. When it comes to "i", different strokes abound and none of them are objectively wrong.
An argument / disagreement usually have only 2 sides.

10 "i"s is a stronger side of the argument to 3 "i"s. Majority matters. Perceptions / opinions / life experience can vary to a huge extent, but there are often only 2 sides to a coin. 1 side is usually more dominant then the other. This thread is an example of that.
