First! skill up for rank 30+

Hello,

I'm stuck right now @ rank 30 >.< because raptor skin is soooo expensive and toad skin rare to find in market wards. (buafflo gives low SP now)

I just want good recipes give like 400SP+ per synth till rank 34 then i'll start to skill up on sheepskin all the way to 44+.

Diremite Sinew Cord (x1)

About the same RP you get from Raptor Sinew Cord(400~600), and it's quite easy mats to get(at least for me).

wolf fur is also an excellent SP giver too.. i donno about getting 400-600.. but then again i scrape for whatever i can get at this point , this is a good thread.. will subscribe to hear more good ideas

Raptor Sinew should be plentiful if Raptorskin is and you can get to 36~ on it

The issue with fur a lot of the time is the requirement for formic acid and so it's also correspondingly hard to find as a lot of the people grinding for SP aren't going after antlings when cob/dobs are still easier marks. I would actually say that gigantoad skin is going down in price and rarity as the tweaks to local leves have more toadskin comming out of them for the higher-end TANs (who don't really want them as they're getting better returns off peiste/buffalo-related leather crafts).

For 30s I don't remember crafting too hard as per grinding as buffalo was worth something (and it still is) and just got by till around 35 on leves. I would actually suggest making diremite sinew cords, farming sheepskin, getting access to slate-grey dye, a lot of cotton cloth (you should have your WVR sub up and going fairly well at this point), and dew thread. With that you can start outputting underwear (ala trunks, singlets, pagne, and breastcloths) and make some decent SP if you have tailoring training (yes, the one training you don't get via TAN GMs that is used by TAN).

Even the most expensive sheepskin (vendor bought) is only going to run you 7200 per skin (sold by
Zaesoeya in the central tunnel of Gridania north of CRP Guild and south of TAN Guild).

I remember the low 30's giving me a bit of a hassle a well, due to most raptor sinew drops (going off YG info) is off higher level mobs than what my PUG could do. For the 30's I think I still used buffalo vamps up to 31-32 ish, then switched over to cotton singlets up to 34 when I finally started to break into my gigantoad stash and make toad leather and then some vamps up to where I am now. Go with cotton singlets if you've exhausted your buffalo leather supply (I never see to run out lol) or if you're past 31. I think Buff vamps was only giving around the 150-180 SP range at 32.

This is all of course mixing in getting as many local leves as possible. I can just now start getting into fleece although i'm still busting a larger percentage of synths on it than I really want to, so i'll hold off on going full blown fleece probably for one more rank.

Edit* Btw forgot about diremite sinew cords. Another great method in the low 30's to get some skill ups. Not really a ton of concentrated diremite areas, (aside from ones that are fairly higher level) but still another option.
