ARR textures do really suck from alpha screens.
Let's hope beta improves some of that but I'm not hopeful.

For the ground, a well blended grass and grass quality works wonders for a bad ground texture - but SE has poorly scattered/blended grass and the grass quality itself is very low. Scratch that well blended grass works beyond wonders for everything. Maybe I'm just with environment fanaticism but quality flora and it being well dispersed has a huge impact on the overall feel of an environment.
So XD lol
ITs funny though they have a lot of tricks to make textures look great from a distance but have low costs (being low res), but they for some reason wont release high res textures like they think our computers suck or something lol. Of course 1.0's engine sucked so I guess no one could have run it. But now, I'd hope they consider a high res release.
