I really wouldn't judge by that picture. Angles and smaller size doesn't do much to flatter what is really going on. Wait for some major Screenshots from the media tour once they finish.

Oh look... the "I hate grass" club found the tour thread. If you think the entire game will be the same coloration as the screen in the picture... you're probably on crack.

No! None of that.

To be fair I posted that picture to some friends and said we're finally getting some stuff about ARR, they thought it was SE playing WoW for the first or League of Legends lol. Btw, they never touched XI or XIV 1.0.

When you look at it from that angle and the amount of saturation, it really doesn't remind you of anything but the lower end MMO graphically.

Actually, there were very few people complaining about camera needing to be zoomed out to looking down the planet from space style, most were complaining about how rigid it was.

I like all of the screenshots and videos we have of the game from the alpha and post-alpha builds, so I'm not really too worried. But in the defense of the people complaining about the "WoWification" of that image. Those colours are way more saturated than is natural, which is a hallmark of the so called "WoW" style. I'm not sure why they are so much more saturated, but that green is not natural - which is worrying, since "natural" is the best word I could find to describe the FFMMO syle.
