Not at all. I would reccomened for easier navigation and just also keeping things neat and tidy....Before you actually install any programs onto your new hard drive to create a folder called "program files" or something similar. All programs that you install, if you want to install them to that hard drive, just make sure during the install process that you set it to that folder, and not the default Crogram files folder, and it will work just fine.
