Would I donate money to a multi million dollar company for them to develop a game that I already spent hundreds of dollars helping fund? No. Anyone who answers otherwise has their replica buster sword shoved too far up their ass.

Hypothetically if SE offered an option for you to continue paying for FFXIV services while it's down for the ARR transition & offered bonuses (other than the Legacy ones), would you have chosen to do so?

I know it's too late for SE to offer it, and not like they would but I think it merits an interesting discussion topic.

I for one would have taken the offer. Whatever bonuses they could have concocted would look nice next to my Legacy bird.

They're already putting a crap ton of man-hours into this project- throwing more money at them won't create more hours in a day or a time machine.

I prefer to donate to those less fortunate than myself rather than those more fortunate than myself.

And if for extras. At this time I personally wouldn't. I may not even like 2.0 so I would prefer not to pay anything additional before I'm sure I like it.

Hey guess what... waiting for a beta to come out is a first world problem too. Reading posts you don't like and critcise by calling it a "first world problem" is also a First World Problem....
Really hate that phrase... like I'm suppose to be ashamed I'm not oppressed in some way.
