It existed in 1.0 so it probably will exist in ARR in some way.
It was so minisule that it didn't matter, though. The whole premise of this game was to be whatever race you wanted, and play whatever class you wanted at any time. The bonuses were never more than a +1 INT for Dunsfolk Lalafell or something like that.
That said, I'd rather things stay this way. Also, stop beating the dead horse already.
I'm starting to feel like this person is a troll, but I'm willing to see him as just a new forum user for now (seeing how he has close to no posts yet):
Dear junebug,
in the upper right corner of this forum is a search function you can use to search for a certain topic before you start a new thread. Most topics have been discussed to death already and people get easily annoyed if they are brought up again and again by people who are too lazy to use the search function
The general feedback to the topic of race bonus was that most people liked it the way it was in FFXIV 1.0 - very slight differences, like 1 INT more or less than other races, so that everyone can be any class they like without restrictions.
(Of course there were a few people who'd like it better the FFXI way, but they were only a few).
my LS has me being blm, don't nerf me bro
I feel like Racial bonuses kill the whole theme of anybody being able to do anything. In 11 I wanted to be a Taru but I wanted to try melee classes among magic classes, so I felt like I had to choose Hume just because of the racial bonuses. If I have to choose a race again based off end game stats again then I'd be beyond annoyed
