Hunting down community reps twitter accounts and trying to google translate them.
Placing bets with your linkshell mates about when Beta will come out, and always wanting to say "tomorrow".
Cleaning your house so you will have more time for Beta.
I'm moreover hunting for any FFXIV info I can find. Shouldn't there be a wave of news today?
Excessive Lodestone page refreshing? Check
Fixation on Grass Graphics? No Check
Dressing in Maelstrom colors? No Check

Flooding the world with Fan Art - No Check
Singing Answers at every given opportunity - Check
Imagining yourself as one of the new races - Check (Roegadonna)
Longing to know Louisoix's true fate - Check
well 2/15 is date on beta timeline if no beta after that than true addiction will take hold . Shakes trembling, restlesss sleep ect). Hope we dont need meds, if game not not on that day. MAREK

I've got a new symptom for the list. Not wanting to do work (school or otherwise) because you'd rather play. It's funny. When I can play, I have no trouble getting work done. When I can't, that's when I don't feel like doing anything...

Building up lieu time at work through unpaid overtime.
Building up free time at home by encouraging the wife to go out and looking after the kids.
Getting ansty because some 'annoying' social gatherings (close friend moving to NZ party, close friend getting married party, close friends album launch party) might coincide with Beta access going live; or at least the first 72hrs of it.
