Clan specific armor?

Capes work great for some equipment like Knight type gear or mantles for some mage gear, I'd like to see them in game as part of the design of some body pieces so they wouldn't look too out of place.

Also, emulating cloth can be done at a decent enough level that it doesn't look ridiculous nowadays, so yeah I would like to see some more equipment that utilize that.

I know square added starting gar that is unique for each race. Is it likely they will ever clan specific armor? Think of the variety it would add to the game!!

Then I started to think about it .. Each clan has distinct differences enough that I think distinct clan armor would be awesome, hellsguard vs the seapuppies.. Pretty cool~!

Curious how they would balance or when to place them though.

Perhaps the racial is the clan gear?

Roe Racial chest - but looks different depending on which race wears it. What do you think?

Was it just me? lol I thought OP was refering to the clans of the races like Wildwood vs Duskwight.

You don't have to be enlisted under same grand company to form a free company. Also as commented in this post (link above - Translated one here) you will be able to put free companies crest on some items.

A little off topic but sort of along the same lines.. I really wish they would cut holes in helms/chain head pieces for miqo ears instead of having these weird metal points..
