Collectors Edition

I am not sure and maybe a Dev can shine a little light on this one but does anyone know if they will release a Collectors Edition for "A Realm Reborn" ?

I bought the Collectors Edition for Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 when it came out and as we all know the game let us down upon release. So far after being and Alpha and now Beta creeping up on us. I can say that I am pleased with what I've tried and what to expect and I really would like to get my hands on a Collectors Edition of "A Realm Reborn".

None the less I hope a Dev can HINT us if there is one in the works && If not, what would you guys like to see in a Collectors Edition to "A Realm Reborn" ....

If there are special benefits to pre-ordering the CE again, will those of us that bought the first CE have to buy a second one, or will we get them automatically?

I'd love to have 1 "Levequest" (the plates that they're on) in the collectors edition, as well as something with a chocobo on it.

I can't wait to see the Collector's Edtion! But I'm also wondering, if there would be a Collector's Edition for the Playstation 3...and if it's gonna obtain the same extras that the PC will also have or not.

I mean, I already own the PC version obviously...but I'm kinda hoping that the PS3 has the same extras so I don't have to buy a copy of the PS3 version and then going to buy the PC cause they have different stuff. I'm just hoping for both PC and PS3 the Collector's Edition comes out with the same stuff so people don't feel like they need to get one or the other just for a certain extra.

I'm pretty sure if they come out with a CE, it will be the same for both PS3 and PC. If they included a bonus item, I would love to see a levequest plate, an aetheryte crystal or maybe a small figurine of one of the primals. Bahamut would be nice too

Wonder what the non-CE item will be lol (obviously nothing physical) but last time it was the goggles.

Also I believe they said our editions would transfer across digital but not physical. Such that regular -> regular 2.0 digital and CE -> CE 2.0 digital. Reps had a small post on this once before but I cant find it again so QQ lol


Of course it would be nice for either edition to absorb the others benefits and the option of getting the physical piece (some fee to cross bundle and to get the physical edition of w.e one you own).
