I think he means like that awesome game that's out right now, what is it, Rift, yeah, that's the one! Or the super-duper phenomenal game TERA. Or better yet, the awesome spectacular WoW-killer that is SWTOR. Yep, FFXIV is gonna have to step up it's game if it wants to beat them.

I think he meant WoW or pick-ur-WoW-clone. He didn't say they were of some special 'quality' or that it had to be a new MMO, just that a FF reskin may not entice new players who already still enjoy WoW or whatever clone they've gotten into.
