First off, I should say I did read the full NDA.

I'm pretty sure you could stream yourself actually commentating the game on Mumble with your friends. As long as you don't stream gameplay or sound, you should be all right. If you won't even do that, I would be worried about the entertainment value of what you're doing :P

How on earth could you read the whole thing and miss the part that is capitalized and bolded for emphasis?

I believe that, that was the part I read when I decided not to stream mumble, when I was originally planning too.

If you want to give your opinion of the beta then don't become a beta tester for phase 1 and phase 2. This way you can talk all you want without any worry of breaking the NDA because you have not signed it and you only know information that has been released to the public.

Just FYI from JP forums (Not here) there was someone who linked to some player streaming alpha and got taken down/perm ban from game instantly.

Don't even try... unless you want to lose your account. They are reading NA forums and if they see people talking about streaming they are going to gang up and report you instantly. So I'm just warning you all not to break NDA... it's not worth it.
If you get in from phase 1, be happy that you got in and test fully for the rest who couldn't get in to make the game better. All your OMG THE GAME IS AWESOME (or negative) comments can start from Phase 3 once NDA is lifted.

I will be streaming at the start of phase 1, however no sound or gameplay until phase 3 due to NDA. But my stream will be live for people to come by ask any questions and give any non NDA breaking answers I can. As well as for people to come by and "Follow" me for the following: During Phase 3 and Phase 4 I plan to have my stream up anytime I am online, showing as much of the game I can to everyone, helping promote it! Once the game is officially released I plan to continue streaming as much as possible. I am part of a wonderful LS that is very progressed and well geared n I am excited about showing some of the content coming in ARR!
I think at somepoint during beta some of my LS members might get on cam on my stream with me, so that should be fun :P.

If you're looking for people to chat with up until beta, a handful of my members chill on my stream when its offline to talk. I do stream other games daily when I feel like it though its not offline all the time. Been streaming Dead space 3, Tera and Crysis 3 ^^

*Edit* Wow, this is what I get for commenting on something I left idle at work for a couple hours then submitted! :P There was only 2 posts last I checked lol. Oh well...
I'm curious, if you can't show gameplay or do sound whats the point? TBH, i'm genuinely interested in following you. However I'm not sure what I would be following if I'm going to stare at a blank screen hearing you curse profanities or giggle at your reaction to FFXIV:ARR. Why don't you sell what we are really following you for? lol
Cuz, I'm confused what exactly I would be watching at this point. Except for nothing, but the blatherings of an avid fan playing Beta. lol
