    Ya, I'm pretty sure the screenshot is about Chocobo breeding quest or pet. It just happens that Yoshida is using the controller UI.

    Then again the first screen shot doesn't look to have anything to do with Chocobos so indeed it could be a controller being the object in his hand.

    The NA blog says "As a trade-off, though, you don't get to see the object that Yoshi-P is holding in his hands. What in seven hells is it, you ask? You'll have to figure it out from the photo below!"

    Then it shows the screenshot posted by the OP. The focus of the image is the controller UI. I'm pretty sure the baby chocobo is just there as an NPC.
