Eius in obitu nostro praesentia muniamur.
Focusing on handwriting is precisely what this thread is about, and you did an excellent job of that! It's one of my favorites I've seen in the thread.Hello! Greetings to everyone. Normally I'm just kind of a lurker on the forums, but I thought I'd give this a shot... Kind of focused more on just making it handwriting, and not so much on where the extra little curves and curls are. x3
Click!
(Sorry, it's kind of big. I didn't want to stretch the page or something.)
As far as the large size of it, the forums automatically size things down so it wouldn't stretch (and right click -> view image allows people to see the original size), so you wouldn't have had to worry.
Finally a bit of an aside.... are all those names your own various characters, or just people you know? Because one of them I see is Deirdre Ta'ea, which I have to admit a long time ago I'd seen a signature done up for that name in a handwritten-stylized way. It was probably the first inspiration that prompted me to start playing around with the Eorzean script and culminating in me making the custom Eorzean fonts that I've released.

Only E'iri is mine. The rest are all people I'm good friends with on the Roleplayers Coalition forums. =] I needed more names to practice, lol.Focusing on handwriting is precisely what this thread is about, and you did an excellent job of that! It's one of my favorites I've seen in the thread.

And thanks for the info! I don't post here often. A little intimidated to.
LOL. I forgot about that already. Thanks? Hahaha
Send my regards to Deidre then, they deserve thanks for sparking my creativeness! I can't really say I'm a roleplayer myself per se (for one I never do IC chat, always OOC), but I do like to build up a few little details about my characters' personalities and such, including the handwriting.
I've practiced with other peoples names, too (obviously since I posted some of them earlier in the thread... >.>), it's a good way to break the monotony for those interested in learning more of the writing system beyond just their own name.

A lot of beautiful names here.
I did this forever ago after giving up on trying to make fancy eorzean handwriting. This time it's the name of my future alt, he's horrible at writing, but can read good. :]
If anyone wants to try to guess his name, and guess it right, I'll fly to your house and personally congratulate you. jk i wont
hint: the 3rd letter is L
I have relayed your message! She, too, sends her regards and thanks you for the compliment. =DSend my regards to Deidre then, they deserve thanks for sparking my creativeness! Haloran Makui?
Pretty sure you're close. I'm rather confident it's Haloran Maqui, with a Q instead of a K. But Aislin would have to confirm for us :PA lot of beautiful names here.
