the Last Remnant for Sure. the soundtrack alone could pull the lacking weight in other area's...if it had any.

FYI SE released The Last Remnant on the PC as well. I bet you can find it super cheap, and possibly even on steam.

Edit: Yeah it's on steam 14.99 It's a very different type of RPG mind you. It's like a fusion of a tactial and traditional JRPG. The battle system at first glance seems random and frustrating. But it's all based on which leaders you use for each battle group and their class. What formations you're using for each battle group, and the current situation a group is facing. It's very complex.

So Ni No Kuni eh? Seems alot of ppl like it here and no one has said anything bad about. So I guess if I go pick it up in an hour I am sure to not be disappointed!? (it's either that or new pair of dress shoes for work).

It's a good game for sure, but it's not a perfect one either. You can expect some faults. It is worth buying though.

If you have an android or iphone, grab a Gameboy advance emulator (or an actual gba) and try out Summon Night Swordcraft Story. I recently started playing a bunch of GBA rpgs and this one really stuck out. It's an adorable hacknslash rpg with some hilarious dialogue. I thought it was dumb at first but I found myself addicted to it 10 hours later.

RPG: any FF (many people like many different ones), tales games, ni no kuni, eternal sonata, grandia games

western rpgs: mass effect games, deus ex human revolution, DMC games, skyrim, batman games

I think in that list you're bound to find something. Disgaea 4 is my cup of tea, super strategy and hilarious as sh!t

Skyrim is a great non MMO game, the world is amazing and has a MMO type of feeling with quests, great story, crafting, and much more. I'm not a fan of the first person type play so I just play skyrim in third person, all though the targeting in third person takes some getting use to, but melee type play third person is not bad, I switch to first person only when I decide to play as a magic class.

Have Skyrim. Modded the crap out of it too lol. I'm always an Archer. I love sniping people. I even have a kill cam mod that raises the chance of ranged kill cams. It's nice.
