Alpha testers in to phase 1 beta?

I wasn't in closed alpha for 1.0 but I was in closed Beta for 1.0

Please note, I stated my experience from beta:

Ah right I see. By beta, even closed, I think it was just random giveaways thru various fansites for access iirc? So yeah, would make sense that alot of that crowd wasn't really there to test and moreso to just play the newest ff.
