I did you like playing with that Controller? i know i found it a little weird when i try using it when playing on my friend ps2. I guess you get use to how big it is

It was weird at first but I could still type with it and the keys were very hefty to the touch. I would use the control-pad for action games though FFxi was action based, so it's okay.

On the other hand, I have this for PS3:

I rarely use it cuz my fingers aint that tiny to type with it constantly I have look down at the keyboard to know what button I'm hitting XD

I still think the plug-in usb add on keyboard for the ps3 controller, is better then the concepts I've seen. I mean, I should be able to type and cast spells without letting go one hand to actually hold the controller and type the other. because that's how it seems to be for this post
