PS3 vs PC

Probably almost everyone who ran 1.0 ok will be using PC still, I mean 2.0 will run better then 1.0 so ok turns to good and anyone that ran 1.0 good is just going to have their computer die from computational boredom lol

I'm curious to what kind of attitude PS3 players will bring to FFXIV, like in FFXI you could feel a shift in social ambiance when SE released it for ps2*.


*The funniest change imo was that GMs got lazy on the name policy and I saw butternipples and such running around - something that would have never happened before then XD

Voice chat easily capable. Updates and add-ons quicker. Plus I can play the PC version with a controller and my PC is close to my bed, which pretty much destroys any need I would have for the PS3 version.

I'll use PS3 for Ni No Kuni and let my big boy PC handle FFXIV.

Even if I weren't thinking about buying a new system this year, I'd probably still be saying PC. Too many reasons, as listed previously: voice chat, graphics, etc. My "office" is actually extremely comfortable, I think I'd rather play in here than out in the living room.

So planning to upgrade my PC this year is really just the icing on the cake. Do you think a pair of GeForce GTX 690s would be overkill? (Disclaimer: Probably not actually doing that.)
