Hmm... that is interesting... I have mixed feeling with having to hold a trigger rather than just press it once to go into the battle mode but I'll just have to try it myself... I'm glad my hypothesis was pretty close and that does enable players on the gamepad to speed up commands greatly. I don't like the idea of having to press L2 or R2 to switch bars simply because of the springiness of the L2 and R2 button on the ps3 controller, but I'll probably just have to get used to it.
