    I just hope raising it to an adult is a little bit faster than it was in ffxi... and that our chocobo's don't retire if we decide to not play for a couple of months...

    Nah, that must be the controller UI on a PC. The display resolution in that screenshot is way too high for a PS3. It looks like 1920x1080.

    Ya could be PC with controller showing of the UI for it. Do they even have a working PS3 client ? that can play ffxiv lol?

    Good point! I also think I see the standard bag UI (a grid of colored dots for each bag as well as one for equipped items) on the far bottom right. That UI is specific to the PC version.





    Due to its lower resolution, the PS3 version UI (seen below) replaces the dot grid with a simple series of numbers listing how many items are in each bag. It also drops the micro menu buttons to the left of the bag display in the PC version.





    I take this as a sign that the PC version might let you use your mouse to click on elements such as the micro menu even when set to the controller interface. I'm sure there will be a way to access that with the controller as well, though.

    Looks like that's a screen shot of chocobo raising quest. NPC has quest and wearing some unique chocobo cloths and helmet.

    I guess Yoshida might be holding a picture of different size Chocobos as it grows.
