Thema: 1.0 Character Data in Beta Test Phase 3 and 4 - Will it carry?

We know that character data is reset at the end of beta phase 3, I'd assume this counts for Imported 1.0 characters too, but I'd just like to be sure. Also if it can be confirmed that our characters would keep their progress at the end of the Phase 4 open beta to release, that'd be cool too.

From the Roadmap:

• Phase 3 characters will be deleted at the start of phase 4.
• Characters created during [Phase 4] will be carried over to the official release.

  * Circumstance may necessitate the deletion of character data.

I know of this, but I'm mostly curious if those rules count when we're talking about our 1.0 characters since we can import them in phase 3.

All characters will be deleted after phase 3. this includes 1.0 characters- you'll be able to re-import them in phase 4.

All this means is no progress will carry over from phase 3 to 4.

Yes. Of course they are.

there's already a thread about this. Some insist that there will be wipe after ph4, but you'll keep chars without progress. I insist we'll keep progress in ph4, unless there's some big issue, in which case char/name/progress and all that will be wiped; but i don't find it very likely.
