So many replies, thanks guys ! i feel welcomed already. Anyone who will be playing on the PS3 post your PSN. I got rid of my gaming PC :/ but i am tempted to buy another now that the release approaches. But i am really looking forward to playing it on the PS3, will there be any disadvantage ?


Where chocobos only rentable in the Ffxiv? As to where in version 2.0 we won't have to rent seeing as Legacy members recieve a free chocobo anyways? Will you be able to own more than one?

You get a chocobo from doing the Grand Company quests, you got to name him. So Legacy players will have 2 chocobos in 2.0

(PC players will get addons, and if they have a better then ps3 computer better graphics, SE said they may port addons to the ps3 if they are really need to haves (probably means the PC would get a native version of that addon as well))

Two mounts? Wouldn't it make more sense for it to be legacy chocobo armor? I couldn't imagine legacy chocobo wearing grand company armor and legacy armor?

If you want to test out PS3 Beta you would have to wait for beta3 and you have to sign up. If you have the FF13 code you get in 100% Legacy only get you into the PC beta version starting this month.

The beta application details only said increased chances. Not 100%.

Chances are fine but they have to apply even if they want to play on their PS3.

Legacy player get instant access to pc beta but even if you legacy and entered the ps3 ff13 code, you are not guaranteed to get into ps3 beta... you are much more likely than someone without the ff13 code but not guaranteed...

It will likely just give you two codes to use characters in both accounts. Recall you actually need to register each service account with the ps3 key to use the characters. So I think if you want you use characters on both accounts for the beta you would need two beta codes.

The Legacy chocobo is different then our GC chocobo. So it makes the most sense to offer two different chocobo options. Maybe thats what you are trying to say, and that is what I said.

And I replied there was one GC chocobo, and you will get a Legacy Chocobo. In the end Legacy players will have two different chocobos, each with their own special barding (I'm sure the GC chocobo will be obtainable in 2.0).
