Submitting bugs

Hi, I know I'm very late, but there's a bug I would have liked to submit. (I noticed it today)

It would seem the bug report forum was locked or something so I can't do it here. Is there any other place I can submit a bug?

Just want to make sure it will be fixed in ARR...

Bug report forum is locked because the game is down, once ARR starts up again you'll be able to bug report til your heart's content

Once beta forums are open you can submit any bug you know on there

No idea i bet the bug he want to report have been found and post in the alpha forums. Or maybe it's something he dislike in 1.0 where it going to change anyways he should have just said what the issue was lol but w/e

Basicly, it's related to the librairies path (My Documents, My Pictures,etc).

In the french version of Windows, "Librairies" is called "Bibliothèque".

Basicly, I moved my librairies on my D: drive, since my C: drive is a small SSD. So I created the folder D:\Bibliothèques\ to put everything.

The problem comes from the "è" letter, which is not a standard english letter. It would seem FFXIV didn't like it. Instead of saving its data in D:\Bibliothèques\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV\, it created a new folder and saved everything under the folder D:\Bibliothèques\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV.

Edit : If I noticed it today it's because I decided cleaning my hard-drive today.
Considering ARR should be rewritten from scratch, maybe it will be fixed anyway.

That does not seem like a issue with SE end more like how the computer read the files.

It is an issue with SE.

Over 10 other games could properly write in the right folder.

Being french I have seen that kinds of bugs in many games and software. For some reason, many softwares don't like "unusual" characters ( éèêëç ...)

I agree, looks to be a character encoding issue with the game.
