Haha! but seriously, There are somethings like Patches to be delayed, but the start date for ARR and the Benchmark with Yoshi-P's emotion towards "mid-Feb", It should release at that time, and I highly doubt Beta will " start" in June. When Beta Comes You know the Benchmark is already out. If you said Mid-Feb= Mid March in SE time then I could be more inclined to believe ya :P. However, June for Start of Beta? Think your off your high horse :P.

Edit: Anyhow, I think the Benchmark will be in a Blog post as well as a Lodestone post as well. so it may very well come in the next Blog. ( Don't get your hopes up though).

Well... I don't think we will be seeing the benchmark for awhile or at least I don't know why we would according to the Beta roadmap they are doing performance optimizations through all three phases. I could be wrong but wouldn't they want to wait till they had the stable version before they release a benchmark that will essentially inform the buyer of system req. I am probably wrong though and have a very shallow understanding on the subject but personally I would love to see a benchmark soon It will lay some issues I have to rest.

As people said earlier. They are releasing 2 benchmarks.
1 for beta testers
1 for final release.
