Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means

they might as well just add a service called "50 to Cap!" so $50 will get you to level 50 instantly!

i wouldn't mind things like this, add them to seasonal events and special events that send you to places you don't normally exp and get double exp in like say your santa outfits and what not. in pvp games like warhammer they have special weekends like this alot and they open up new pvp fights that are not available the rest of the year. this would be great for pve too.

Just take us up to 50 after the tutorial. I mean, if leveling is only meant to be a (very small) hurdle to get to "ENDgame", then they may as well get rid of it, don't you think?

Just about everyone has all jobs to 50 anyway. Double exp would be hilarious.
XP wasn't easy enough in FFXIV? It needs to be twice as fast as it was? No, I think the idea is garbage..
You could already PL a person to level 50 in like a few days it was so easy..
Whats the point of even playing anymore if XP gets this easy?
You may as well just log in with a max level character, doing no work to get there and be super uber ultra God.
Use to be leveling was actually a part of MMO's. Now you get enough people crying about "let me make super easy XP" and wala.. Max level in one week from now on..
I don't like it at all..

I did get my first 50 job in a week (5 days, actually; not the whole week) in this game, and within 2 weeks or so, I had already obtained my first "endgame" drop: an Ifrit's Harpoon that I couldn't even use yet. So, I took my time to level DRG to use it. Took me a week also.
In XI, it took me NINE MONTHS to get my first 75. It really felt like quite the acomplishment. I wasn't bothered at all by how long it took me to get there either, because really, the game had some content to do before hitting the level cap, and I always thought of endgame as, well, ENDgame.
It's a real shame to see all of that go. Nowadays, games start at the level cap, with "endgame" being pretty much the only thing to do, and leveling is just a mad rush to get there. It has pretty much no prerequisites either, just shoot to max level and in a matter of days, you'll be there. You may be required to complete a quest beforehand, but... I think we all remember the level 35 Ifrit, right? Or the prereqs to AV/CC?
Do people REALLY want all of this to be even faster and more simplistic? Really?

9 months for 75? it took me 3 years for lvl 55 on my first chara (of course that was back in the old grind days w/o books)I did get my first 50 job in a week (5 days, actually; not the whole week) in this game, and within 2 weeks or so, I had already obtained my first "endgame" drop: an Ifrit's Harpoon that I couldn't even use yet. anyway no to double exp weekends...rested exp is ehough of a boost and if you take the lvling out of mmos and leave the end game, soon everyone will beat and get the best gear then there will be no reason to play at all...
