The jobs on XI are still the best (imo) anywhere, but yeah leveling is WoW easy now. CoPs, sky, sea, dynamis are all a joke too, solo'able if not duo'able...

yeah and the hourglass is only like 50k now, i think limbus is free err, forgot what its called dynamis but for sea, where you had to buy that soap to cleanse yourself.

i would say you can duo dynamis to win, you can't really solo to win but lots of ppl solo just for farming relics, which everyone freaking has now.

Dynamis is free, you pay once and then you can got in once per jp midnight. Limbus i think it's 15k or 25k everytime you want to go in.

The game is different now, but it isn't bad, also XIV 1.0 was much easier to get to 50 than a job to 99 on XI.

Meh.. people complaining about how easy it is to level in ff11 yet in ff14 it was just as easy to get to level cap xD. It took one or two days to get from 1 to 50 from being leeched in 14 1.0.

And somehow I doubt in 2.0 it will change the difficulty of the game, actually I feel they will probably make it easier since everyone is applying WoW systems to their mmorpgs.

Not until chains and natalan came around, it actually took quite a while before then.

Abyssea wasn't always there. I remember it taking me nearly a year to reach 75 for my very first time. :d

I've been leveling Blue Mage outside of abyssea lately, and I have to say it's a lot more enjoyable than the burn, if a bit slow. I welcome this double exp. Doubles the reason that I don't have to go through a maw.

Days of /shouting in jueno and /sea all to build parties for weeks/months are long gone in MMOs, but for whatever it's worth I'm proud and honored that I had the opportunity to be apart of it.
I guess I was doing it wrong but it took me about a month to get my one and only 50 on XIV

Are different way to level, on XI you can level a job to 1 to 99 on 2 days, 1 - 30 outside aby and then leech fast 30 to 99, but you could do it old way too, and that will take more time than two days.
Same thing happened on XIV 1.0, you could level parying taking more time or with PL really fast.
