You're not confusing close beta being related to NDA?

Any MMO Beta can choose to take their NDA down at any time ( usually at Open Beta and in some cases just before OB) Reality is it's their product and they can choose to lift it Early or wait till Open Beta. However, I am no Simpleton I know most cases it will be @ Open Beta. However, there is a small chance it can be lifted in Phase 3 at some point ( end if anything). I know 99.9999% it will NOT happen at Phase 1 or 2.

Just checked, they must have changed it.. I swore it said Phase 3 was under NDA still. Well, that just adds to the good news pile then =).

yea your right, I read that pdf when it first came out and I swore that phase 3 still had NDA up, but I guess they changed it, or my memory is going..... Getting old >< Sorry for confusion everyone. Carry on with the good news XD

I'm dying of anticipation over here. I've gone back to watching the End of an Era video just about every day. I've been listening to the 1.0 music. I've been reading and re-reading the roadmap.

I've been staring at my character avatar, bouncing up and down with impatience to see her again. I've been mulling over names for my kitteh-boy and Admiral Merlwyb clone. I've been going through the remembered character creation in my head, considering what type of color schemes I want for the new characters.

I've been trying (and mostly failing) to think up clever names for my beta characters and release characters.

Hubby and I have been dissecting the End of an Era video, and fueling my love of conspiracy theories by concocting possible outcomes to the Bahamut appearance.

AAAaaaaagggggghhhh.

I miss FFXIV, and I'm counting the weeks, days and hours until I can get my chubby Lalafell hands on it again.

I share your pain - I've been the same since virtually the server shutdown and the End of an Era trailer was released. And 1.0's reactivation and being accepted into the Alpha didn't help at all.

I've even since sat down and started drawing a comic to map out my character's backstory and explain how she ended up in Gridania even though she was a GLA, or why she stayed at the Carline Canopy drinking awaiting her fate instead of participating in the Battle of Catraneau, and things like that (it's up to over ten pages now). Yes, I know exactly how obsessive this sounds. :P

Beta can't come soon enough.
