Primal weapons: to upgrade or not?

I think SE will obsolete them. There is no way new players can obtain them.

It's already been said officially that all Primal Weapons from 1.0 will be kept in A Realm Reborn.

With all the new primal fights coming out, assuming all of them drop weapons, I hope older weapons are upgradable to have similar stats as newer primal weapons. For one thing I don't necesarily like collecting every single weapon or gear in the game. By the same token it is sometimes fundamental to obtain new equipment because of stats. Therefore in ARR I hope they implement ways to be able to upgrade things as weapons so that they don't become obsolete like Ifrit's weapons did. Besides, sometimes people really like certain equipment for other reasons than better stats. Please devs let us be able to upgrade some of our weapons and gear!!!!

The easier way is to add new Primal Weapons with stats in line with old ones. Problem solved.
