Actually no, the game is telling you how it wants you to play. You can either deal with it or play a game that lets you play how you want. But none of them are 50 so what would you know of how half the game works. :/ It doesnt matter you are telling people how to play rather then let us play the way we want.
I shouldnt even have to mention the impracticality of leveling so many ranks with the lack of space to store all that gear.
so again if this isnt a problem for you start your own thread.
You also don't need that much space. If you choose the right gear.
Did you expect something witty?
srsly this again?
I guess it's time already to use the ignore feature. Later troll, try harder.
I'm wholly tired of hearing the community go back and forth about the Fatigue system. If you're not hitting surplus or fatigue, then you're LUCKY. Not playing a small amount of time...you're LUCKY. The entire system is completely bugged or broken as I know people who play constantly, never taking a break and are never fatigued, or it takes them a long time. I couldn't get my Archer from 24 to 25 before I hit fatigue again after the weeks reset. NO WAY does this system work nor should it be used. Maybe the first few hours of gameplay for the week should get a bonus to XP and that can drivel away to a normal rate. No way in hell should this system even exist. It's broken, it doesn't work and I'm tired of hearing explanations about how it works and how it doesn't effect you. I work 60+ hours a week and I have 5 job classes and my physical level fatigued in three days. It does NOT even wear off for me 'over time' like all these mouth-diarrhea Square-loving hippies keep blowing their load about.
I'll say it again. It's broken. It's worthless. It's stupid. It's bugged. It's gotta go. For all those quitting the game over this; more power to you. The sooner Square gets this crap sorted out the sooner they can make some money.
A quick patch getting rid of the fatigue system would be the smartest thing to do. Don't set on it until you make a big release! And don't keep shutting the servers down for hours on end to add some stupid garbage like the Party Size graphic! We don't need epilepsy-inducing flashing crap when a simple chat log message does the trick!
I miss MUCKs... -.-

For the love of God please remove this stupid system. When subscriptions start up, theres no way in hell I would pay for a service that has such penalty on players. The system should work the opposite. People who play less should get some type of bonus sp. Don't penalize the hardcore players. Its just one more way you alienate your main player base.
See, surplus is noticeable, however.
If you don't play too much, It won't affect you at all.
If you are a freak and play a lot, you shouldn't really care. I rank up my classes 2 days a week with out surplus, the rest, with, and yet, I easily rank up.
Just grind through it. I mean seriously you can get a job from rank 1 to 20 in a day. It's so easy to level right now losing 10% of your SP isn't going to kill you.
Its the principle of the matter. It could only take away 1 sp point, but the fact that the system is in place at all is dumb. The game is penalizing people for PLAYING the game. And they expect players to eventually pay a subscription? No, it don't work that way. You wanna reward players who play less? Give them some kind of rested sp, but don't penalize those who play the game.
I'd also like to see surplus gone, but if they really don't intend to get rid of it for the near future they at least need to change how it slows down. Week for a reset is too long especially after the latest changes basically make it possible to hit surplus in a couple hours easily. IMO take surplus away, add more content that forces people to 'want' to stop ranking up but in a good way. Class quests that open up new gameplay options (new spells or abilities like with Guild Marks), new gear to quest etc. Slowing the grind down is not a very good means to slow people down from ranking up too fast, it just makes the game more frustrating and more observant of the simple fact you don't have enough content in the game which imo is the only reasons you would ever have such a system in the first place; to get people to slow down and work on other content.
I support this. Remove it.
Surplus should probably be removed seeing as it very early on failed to do its job.
