Also, they need to make it where you have more Guardian Aspect or use less at one time have a set time limit for it like a signet and let you use it on grinding and not just leves.

Once again I say there needs to be a balance. If you want it removed then what will replace it? They wont just remove it and make it a jolly walk to rank 50.

How is nerfing peoples play with less SP earned, balanced?!
What are you talking about some jolly walk to 50? Getting to 50 is a pain in the ass with SP options available. Grind grass raptors for hours while fatigued or leech others Leves for crap SP when there's not enough links to go around (while fatigued).
So what would you have them do, remove all penalties when Ranking up? So nothing happens if you die, nothing happens if you sp forever and ever, except degrading armor (wow big deal)? Good that it is a challenge to get up to rank 50, it should be tough, it should take a while, and you should feel like you accomplished something and be proud of it.How is nerfing peoples play with less SP earned, balanced?!

Quit with the strawman. So what would you have them do, remove all penalties when Ranking up? I do feel the monotonous grind while being penalized 90% of the time was an accomplishment and i'm proud of putting up with this crap without quitting like most of my friends.
There doesn't need to be a penalty on death nor does there need to be a fatigue system. You are already penalized on death with longer rest times lower acc and after the third death you cant go into active mode.
Put in a rested SP system for casual players who QQ over being CASUAL. Why should my 5 hrs invested time equal your 1hr?
/signed.
What nerve SE must have penalizing players for PLAYING their game.
ONE leve link party is ALL it takes to hit surplus now you're fatigued for the rest of the week, it's another kick in the face like nerfing dobs, quest not giving SP and the reduction in leve link potential with smaller parties.
Another comment here to remove surplus, please.
I +1 the removal of surplus
My 5 cents to remove surplus, and yes there are people quiting because of this, my boyfriend did and he's not coming back if he has to pay to be limited that way; he just likes conjurer/blm and is not gonna be forced to play something he doesnt like. You can turn it around as you want, say it's like wow but other way round, yellow is normal, but whatever it is, it is still limiting, while it should be rewarding for those who dont play much rather than punishing for those who actually play.
I have to agree here. I really do not see the purpose of surplus. The whole "to stop overplay" is a wafer thin excuse when in the same statement "horizontal progress of character" is used. It's not reducing play-time in anyform if the purpose is to change to another class for a while.
What really annoys me is the audacity to call it "bonus exp". Bonus what? Surely I'm not getting extra exp like the name implies.
