    Surplus was a horrible idea. It should be obvious to most that artificially impeding your players is annoying to most, and people generally don't play games to be annoyed. It's so easy to hit surplus even if you play casually, and the hardcores it was meant to impede simply powered through it at a reduced pace, but still miles ahead of the people this was meant to serve.
    While the intention to aid casuals is all well and good, the implementation was done poorly. Punishing those who played a more than a couple hours a day, and instead of helping those that didn't.
    People harp about it being encouraging you to play other classes, but if people aren't interested in playing those others, do you know what they do? They stop playing, as countless people have. Surplus is one of many mechanics that this game got repeatedly trashed for when it was released, and especially now, it serves no positive purpose.

    A rested system sounds like a better idea in my opinion, as it would shift the focus from punishing players to rewarding them, whilst still ultimately serving the same purpose. I always feel like I've done something wrong when I hit surplus haha

    We paid to pay ( no yet but soon ) why holding us back?

    This feature trigger "Negative" feeling from players - - and this cause them to become unhappy.

    Why let your customer base unhappy? Even the idea is good but the implement is bad.

    If there MUST have surplus, then give us something else instead of rip sp away. like 10% of extra surplus come to guild mark of that class. I think no one will blame if there's something that reward to player.

    Actually that is what they mention before, that is why they're saying it Bonus points instead of Surplus. Hoping to know more about the rewards that we get from this threshold or what ever they called it.

    All surplus does is punish me for playing. I would be content with lowering SP gain slightly and losing the surplus if they felt it was neccessary to balance it. ALthough id really rather they just got rid of the damn suplus

    I don't mind the system at all, but it should be adjusted in light of the recent sp changes. And I'm sure will be a non issue after a while.

    I am not too fond of the whole fatigue system...especially when I can hit it in 2 hours... It does not really stop my leveling though until the fatigue lvl gets a bit higher but it definitely makes me want to stop leveling whenever I hit it and when that's the only thing to do it really hinders my want to play.

    I do like the rested exp thing though. Gives a bit more incentive to casuals while not hindering the hardcore...I also like the idea. Well rested people tend to be more observant and more capable than those that just spent the last 8 hours grinding so why not give them a bit of extra sp lol.

    Surplus will be gone as soon as there is enough endgame content. It is a band-aid measure to stop us from hitting 50 to fast (not that it works) and I would not expect to see it even in game next year. It will be one of those "Hey remember back when the game had surplus?"

    I am on the fence about it. At times I do get annoyed that I am hitting it. If SE got rid of it I wouldn't shed a tear. If they decided not to, I won't /ragequit.
