Invert the current system. Turn it to a rest SP bonus. Keep the same balance, but change how they are shown to the players.
That's all I ask for.

Surplus was added to players could not reach max level because what the point of getting rank 50 if there was noting for players to do? I think SE should keep the Surplus system up to 50 then when FFXIV have a new level cap you no longer have surplus. Or just take off all together but i think surplus is added as a level curve While in ffxi you needed to stop to level up Sub jobs and unlock limit breaks. FFXIV have surplus allowing all players to gain the same amount of Sp and give the players that have more time to play to switch to other class. But it still lack players who have more time to play still gain more level 50 matter with surplus or not SE should fix surplus or take it off.
and yeah if a guy has no life and plays all day and you cant he does deserve to be farther in the game thats not unfair or unreasonable u moron
I have 2 assumptions to make here about you.
1) You are a little kid judging by your flaming post.
2) You have not read the terms and rules of conduct before joining these forums, clearly stating not to offend other users.
These forums are primarily for subscirbed gamers who are paying money, as such you won't get away easily by flaming or cussing other users and your ID is attached to your username and will be reported and dealt with. If you'd like to agree to disagree, then by all means, that is your opinion, but i wont tolerate kids with offensive remarks. so consider yourself warned and grow up for that matter, there are elders who play this game.
Please Keep surplus, it makes people play other classes instead of playing the game like its WoW.
Start leveling other classes when you hit surplus people. Or grind through it and quit whining.
And Applause to you Doctor Mog as you really are Hardcore and surplus doesn't even flinch you! See guys! Here a person who can reach Max Rank with Surplus!![]()
I generally agree with you on most things DoctorMog. I also understand that fatigue is really just a minor annoyance.
What do you think of the reasons I stated above?
Further, the general principle of fatigue is keeping people from playing. I would personally rather have FFXIV appeal to a wdier audience so that subscripitons can be used to create future content.
I know some people say that they would rather do without players who can't put up with the system. I find that idea to be short-sighted.
Some of us don't want to play other classes. The whole point of an mmo, and the armoury system is to give the player the freedom of what they want to do. The surplus system denies us that option. PGL is the ONLY class I find enjoyable. Why should I be forced to bore myself with another class because you think I should be playing them?
I will say this, if people think the population is bad right now. Wait until they start charging subscriptions and they still have this system in place. The servers will be completely dead. And what about the ps3 players that come along later in this games life? Do you think its fair that they have to deal with this system while they try to catch up to the pc players who had a year+ advantage?
Gosh, with the current FATIGUE system how many people already REACH rank 50 twice? or more than that?? there is a lot! and soon more to come!
What the fatigue systems need is a little TWEAK not completely erasing it!.
It needs to be removed. I will not pay for a sub if this system is still in place. And I know many other players whole feel the same way, and its painfully obvious in these threads as well. SE will lose even more of their population if this system stays in place.
