    Name of chocobo music in 1.0

    Since 2.0 is coming, and we're not sure if the chocobo music will be replaced, I was wondering if anyone (devs or players) happen to know what the names are for chocbo music. Final fantasy has had a tradition of naming all their songs "something" de chocobo or something similar. FF5 was mambo de chocobo, 6 was techno de chocobo, ff7 had 3, waltz, cinco and electric de chocobo. Would just like to know so I can quench my curiosity. ^^

    Your guess is as good as mine - however the rental chocobo theme was leaked even before 1.0 was released, as it was included as part of the 'Chocobo Medley 2010' arrangement on the orchestral Distant Worlds - Returning Home album (with the earlier Swing de Chocobo arrangement of FFX's chocobo theme 'Brass de Chocobo').

    However, as far as I'm aware, there's no translation existing online of any of the liner notes for that album which may or may not give insight into the name of FFXIV's version sadly. As for the Company chocobo theme, that is even more enigmatic.

    Ah well, it's likely to be revealed in due time I guess.

    The chocobo music in 1.0 got really annoying after a while. I hope it ether stops playing and then the BGM for that area takes over or they have something that wont make you want to turn the music sound to 0 after a couple of minutes on the chocobo.

    But they said the music will loop once or twice and then fade out.
