Personal Gathering Points

Wanted to provide you all a quick update regarding gathering when it comes to FFXIV: ARR.

In A Realm Reborn once you have exhausted your current gathering target, that location will disappear and a different point will appear elsewhere. Since gathering points are specific to each adventurer, you won't have to worry about another player gathering from the same point, as was the case in version 1.0.

This is fantastic news.

Guess I'm the only one who actually liked gathering with others

Just out of curiosity, will each player's gather points spawn at random, or could some mechanic cause people to share the same order--at least party members?

I don't see this happening much, but I could see a situation where you want to farm something from a high level area, and take a group for protection. It would make more sense if the entire group could gather at the same time, versus taking turns of whose spawn point you'll visit next.
