


I'm really disappointed in everybody that posted to flame Evangela. Every one of her points is well thought through. Tanaka obviously played DoW, and at best considered mages to be a work in progress at release.



He/She's being flamed because the only valid complaint in the entire post was the potato sack comment.

That's the point Evangela... the potato sack comment was the only valid point. So nothing wrong with that comment. It's all the other comments that were not really valid.



She does have some valid points.
Elemental attributes don't make that much of a difference which is a shame. I don't even see that much of a shard drop difference.
And I thought the Jade Crook was a r48 weapon, is it not? I'm not sure.
AM's do suck, I haven't used them but 30 seconds to cast a spell that doesn't do much damage for 100mp? Sounds lame, and they don't look that great neither.

Actually, Elemental Resistances only affect shards received through gathering.
As someone in my LS recently put it, "If it affected shard drops from mobs, then I wouldn't be sitting on 6k+ earth shards."

The Drawf diremites (orange in a party of 3) 700-900dmg
Of course these are with regiments, I see nothing wrong with the dmg at all.
Basically if you want to do big dmg nukes on anything besides DC/EM mobs, you have to regiment. BUt droping 50% of a mobs hp in 1 nuke does not seem underpowered at all. This is another example of how people are just doing it wrong



1. No.- useless offensive magic
- Shell/Protect nerfed
- you can AoE a group of monster but you'll get exp/sp from only one
- 1000~1300 max hp, 3 hits or 1 skill hit from a monster cost your life (at this moment, when Shell/Protect nerfed)
- and you need 100+ vit allotment just to have little more hp, can take one more hit from mobs
- WTF is elemental allotment? I reassign them so many time and still can't see any different
- potato sack is your gear!! wear it!!
- no r50 weapon, no top rank unique weapon
- a piece of branch is your staff/rod!! use it!
- AM.... wait 25 sec, 100MP and deal 50 critical damage to the Great Buffalo
- 15~30 action bar slots need, but you have to live with the worst action bar in the MMO history
- when you want to scroll down to 2nd or 3rd action bar, you press UP or DOWN and it toggle your target type and then you die because your action bar and target type was fu--ed up

3. You don't understand how the claiming system works at all. You can AoE a group of mobs and get SP from all, provided they are all in the same group. Obviously if you AoE a bunch of single-group monsters you'll only get SP from one but a good player should know this already.
4.In an ideal party situation your HP doesn't really matter. If you have a good tank you shouldn't be pulling hate and get hit period.

11. Yeah maybe if you set every skill you have. Pick and choose, figure out what you really need for any given fight.
12. You will only change target type if your action bar isn't up period and only if you're in target mode b. If your action bar is up it will scroll between bars 2 and 3. That's user error on your part.
