You can't kill it.

You throw your face at it over and over, thinking "this time it will die for good", "maybe it just has 9 phases. No? Maybe it just has 18 phases.... No? 41 phases..NO? WTF"

But nope.

It just rebirths. Every time.

You never kill Phoenix.

So, after you have exhausted yourself trying to kill Phoenix ( you need to attempt it over 100 times) Phoenix sees how dedicated you are and, feeling sad for you, joins you and whack-a-carbuncle on your pokemmoner quest.

Requirements:
50+ serious attempts at killing Phoenix.
5-10 posts on lodestone about game balance issues.
10-20 minutes of whining in linkshell chat.

I changed a few mechanics. Check it out.

Version 2 has 200% less spite and 322% more realism.

I do have some ideas for smallish boss battles, like a worg chief on the outskirts of the Shroud, a humorous Adamantoise boss in the swamps, a mustached Kobold Chieftain, a few Biggs and Wedge encounters, but I don't know how to fit them in just yet, or even which to pick...

Don't worry too much about how they fit in. Just detail the fight. I am mostly curious to see the kind of expectations people have for complex battles in the game. If you have an idea go for it. I will put anything that I find clever or funny of the front page.
