    You simply pres back and it feels 100% natural, if your hands aren't dyslexic..
    Backing up does not make the camera turn.. It shouldn't and never did in ffxiv.
    It only works when you are locked onto a target..
    I don't know what you mean.
    If I pressed the stick back and my char was locked on a target, the char walked slowly back with the face to the target. But if my char wasn't locked to a target, he turned around and ran away the moment I pressed the stick back.
    This you don't have anymore in ARR. You would always walk slowly back, no turn around and ran away anymore. To run away you need now to turn the camera around first. Fast running would only works forward to the camera direction.

    Hmm idk.. I guess we'll have to see how it plays out..
    I don't see it being a huge deal but idk..
    I liked it backpedaling when I was locked, it made sense..
    It may make just as much sense when not locked..
    Just have to feel it out.
