Please give us more updates!

I solo'd two behests today. People are leaving this game left and right. The only reason any of us currently play is because we want a head start for when (if) the game picks up...

Right now, there isn't a lot of hope. We're seeing patches with virtually nothing in them, and minimal contact from the development team.

To be frank, the update process is slow. From our perspective, the outlook for FFXIV is grim. The only way for this game to be revived is with the fabled PS3 launch.

It would be nice we could have a timeline showing exactly what changes are planned, and when they should be expected. Also, daily communication would be nice.

Daily? I'd rather the servers not be down every single day thank you very much. However I agree I could use more transparency in the update process. I know it's a great undertaking, but I imagine people would be far more sympathetic if they had a better idea of what was actually going on behind the scenes.

They've already had an unprecedented amount of communication over the days of old but SE, let us know what is going on. Perhaps progress reports from Devs on how key changes are going and any difficulties incurred along the way. Not very many are aware of what actually goes into the development process. I'm aware they would need to hire quite a few more translators though to get the word out to the other nationalities but it would go a long way in forging the bond of trust between them and the players at this point.

When I said daily updates, I meant communication on progress and what happened in the studio for that day. I have changed the OP to reflect that.

Also how many threads about this are you going to make until you stfu jesus christ. It's almost as annoying as the bible group people at my college who ask if you want to join them and when you tell them no they wont leave you alone or they'll ask again a week later thinking I'll have changed my mind.

Yep. Once april 19th hits, there won't be so many people being vocal about wishing FFXIV would change.... Those people will have moved on. You'll be left playing an MMO with about 150 people in each server.
