I never tried lineage 2 but from what I understand what you're suggesting is a usable item to increase your effectiveness.

Isn't that the role of food in XIV? You eat something, it increase your stats(increasing your effectiveness), you can buy it and it's a usable item.

oh god i hated soulshots and spiritshots, it was like buying arrows for your sword. And you felt obligated to use them because everyone else was.

I played Lineage 2 for a while and even then, I hated the concept of soul/spirit shots. Like Neph said, since everyone else did it, you were basically obligated to spam them. I can't see liking something like that in this game either, just my opinion tho.

I remember people really hating these things, it gives too much power to people with in game currency and is a really great idea to get the RMT's rolling. No thank you.
