More ways to communicate with members is always a good idea. I also think it brings people closer together if communication like this is supported in game as opposed to asking people to sign up to yet another website. I support this.

kind of redundant since so many people already use 3rd party. Guildwork.com has a robust dkp and raid tracker. it would be nice, but i'd prefer the UI team focus on something more pressing.

Agreed, but it's a lot easier/quicker/more obvious/more foot traffic if it's in the free company house. Rather than logging on, having no idea what's going on and checking an external website to find out what's up, it's easier and faster to be in the house or like a motd for the ls. It also would prevent data collision, where one message can one thing and another can say another (i.e. DD run on 01/01/2013 at 4pm, but the other source would say 5pm.) I would like to see this feature. It's not super important and can wait for a lot of the other GUI stuff to be done first, but I would like to see this feature.
