Thank you for bolding the pertinents. I was trying to say that, but I tend to get a little long winded. I agree as well, I find the overall change in design (color aside) to be refreshing and quite interesting. Then again, I was never a huge fan of the original Shiva design.

Indeed, there's a lot of fans of the typical design much like there's a lot of fans of the typical Chocobo design that'd probably be on the fence/against a complete change in direction of chocobos suddenly grew arms along with their wings and were less bird like and more demon like. Some would like that though.

If I want a sudden change in delivery and style I'll go play the ending of Mass Effect 3 again... :P

FF is famous for iconic re-delivery (someone suggested we wanted something different.. for some reason.. lol)

Btw that chocobo could be a cool "added" mount but I'd flip so many tables if it replaced the original adorable chocobo

I gave you a like for the well timed ME3 jab. A little change over time is never a bad thing though. Stagnation, now that's a bad thing.

Oh calm down, I havent seen one nasty post on this blog yet, people have been thanking Ferne and the devs for the pics. People are just concerned about Shiva since shes one of the most popular summons in the FF games, clearly why shes been in all of them, and if not most.

Sadly, FFXIV community, you can't show concerns or be against anything without people attacking your posts.
