OB is kinda release and there's no indication there's any downtime between OP and release anyways, so there wont be any benefit of *early access*

I can see how that would be beneficial, it would give them a chance to catch any last minute bugs of the final release before the release date. I mean let's be honest no release is perfect out of the box and there's usually a few weeks of constant patch updates and maintenance minimum after the release date, where SE is trying to make this a sure fire re-launch it would give them an opportune chance to leave a lasting good impression on the community.
