Yup it sounds that way when you have no context of what's going on and proper balancing with music and visuals There's a lot of these types of sounds but you don't notice them because with visuals, you associate them with panting while running, battle gasps etc

We also need to remember that the original plan was to implement Titan and Leviathan.

Then the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami happened.

Everything relating to these primals was put on the backburner in the interests of pay respect to those impacted by the disaster. Ifrit and Garuda were implemented instead.

Those old cutscenes may also contain spoilers that they don't want to spill the beans on yet.

Because it'll get people more excited for a remade game? It'll show there's actually progress being made? Heading over to youtube or the FFXIV main page if you watch any of those videos..and never played FFXIV, you've just been spoiled.

"Spoilers" is the last thing that matters here, especially since based on their plans for Titan/Leviathan it would have actually been regarding 1.0 more than anything, which no longer exists, which means nothing would be spoiled. Showing off Ramuh or Shiva for example..those would be spoilers.
