I thought they already established questing is going to be the most efficient way to level, alllll the way to 50. As of now, party grinding isn't anywhere near close to being as fast, but I too hope that changes.
This will change fast especially when the floods come in of people saying they can't level with their friends because they have done those quest or anything of that nature.
I mean honestly who wants to pay a monthly fee just to play solo? I do hope questing gives great exp those who don't have time to party but its Final Fantasy! I don't think they know how to go far from the party grind! :P
One last thing. Unless they can adjust quest by members, I doubt anyone will enjoy a party of 6-8 or what ever number to instant kill a mob and run back. Quest leveling will feel too much like Leve and I think people will rather do that if its going to be the same concept.
Yeah, I agree 100%. And I do hope you turn out to be right good sir. This will change fast especially when the floods come in of people saying they can't level with their friends because they have done those quest or anything of that nature.

Being able to get exp IN EVENTS is something I would very much like to look forward to. skirmish/primal battles/dungeons that give decent exp would be a wonderful side product (it doesnt have to be stellar, but something)
I actually always pictured dungeons as being used for more than we ever got:
exp
chests
materials
gathering
are just a few things I think they could do with dungeons, and the chests thing is already done.
adding exp to events will basically reward people for playing instead of only doing rng for good drops for 1-2 people
They said grinding was the best way in 1.0 yet i leveled up faster soloing leves
