    generic attack motions & sounds

    this is more for the DoM

    I know its still in alpha going on beta.

    when a casting wind spell can we get an intense wind sound that surrounds the mob, and maybe make it look like the caster is gathering wind.

    Doing some generic hand motion and changing the color is not doing it right.

    Ex. THM begins casting fire, he raises his scepter up high, fire gathers around it ( with a fire sound) and then he points it and shoots it at the mob.


    as for the sounds per the Video on your channel. all the sounds have that same high pitched sound during battle. there is no variety where are your lows and mids.

    right now combat animation looks and sounds are like pixie stick tastes sweet and the same .

    But again its alpha / beta

    BTW game is looking great.

    It goes to reason that they will reuse as many animations as possible, so his post is not completely unwarranted. No need to be an ass.

    With that said OP I would wait to see whats in store for beta, but that's just my opinion.

    They wont reuse and you know it.. 1.0's copy pasta didn't why would ARR do it?

    Not that I don't think they're willing to work hard, but when you ask this of them you're asking for a lot of work. They'd have to go back and make a plethora of character animations, mob adjustments and sound effects for it to be realized. In the scheme of things, it's kind of minor stuff.

    Oh I don't know maybe because it is a GAME, and ALL games REUSE as much as possible? Not like you have infinite resources to work with.

    True, but how far should they work on these small things in lieu of the bigger things? Is one animation change in battle to be favored over making a quest or overarching battle element better. Personally, I'd rather the foundation of a game be worked on than that the tertiary qualities beyond that.

    Edit: I'm saying I think they should make a great game and then add polish to it basically. What OP is asking for is polish.
