What's the story behind your character's name?

[Davorok]

Davorok (da-'vor-ok) or Dav for short is just a made up name for my FFXI Galka.

Treewolf was my FFXI secondary character (an Elvaan Thief) mostly used for farming. Treewolf was also my WoW Nightelf Hunter.

Kazuhira Jaeger

Both are from the Metal Gear series. Kazuhira (meaning peace) was the first name of Master Miller or McDonell Miller. He was Big Boss' second in command during his time as the leader of Militares Sans Frontieres. A man skilled in all forms of combat whiles also being half Japanese and half American. Eventually becoming the survival mentor of Solid Snake (A clone of big boss) many years down the line.

Jaeger (meaning hunter) I derived from Frank Jaeger, codename Gray Frox. He was a child soldier who bore the frankness of a kid, but the brutality of a hunter. Earning his namesake. He was eventually trained and kept under watch during his teenage years, when his battles led him to Big Boss. On two occasions they fought, but they're fights were always interrupted. At that time his codename was Null.

I chose those two out of their respect for Big Boss and closeness to one of my favorite and most developed characters in the Metal Gear Series.

Alesziherra Akahlamut [Alex-ee-herra Ack-ha-la-mut] came from a language I worked on when FFXIV first came out. Although most have taken to call me Alex.

Talshara Blade as far as I know was original. I didn't get it from anywhere that I know of. Though I usually use the name Talshana but I had another character with that name at the time I got focused on playing Talshara ...so she became my main one.

My XI char was a MNK to the core. Had to pick a name that would carry that in XIV. Spharai is a misspelling of Sphairai which they got right in XIV.

I do realize that the indra katars always sucked as mnk weapons, but i couldnt find another combination that i liked.

Charles Alderton invented Dr Pepper while working at Morrison's Old Corner Drug Store.

There's a chance I'm a fan of Dr. Pepper.

I Started in XI as Kazira, named after a Japanese friend.

Which mutated to a male character Kazaran, and that was before WOW had it. IT was a play off of Kazaran, Kazaram, and Kazari which I have used. Very simple really.

MY chars name is the same as the one I used in XI Allesasi which is basically my wife's name backwards but I replaced the b in the middle with an s cause it would sound better. My choco's name is Boomboom which is one of the nicknames I use for my second son. My surname is Phoenix because I played on the Phoenix server but it also happens to be my first son's name!!!!!!

Macha Twilight.

My character was made in tribute of the AI cat player Macha, (pronounced "Maha") from .hack//SIGN. I loved the connection she gave to the player character Tsukasa in the later episodes of the show. My characters appearance, is also derived from Macha/Mia.(Mia in the games). Macha Never had a last name, as she was an AI from the start, so I thought of Twilight in reference to the Twilight dragon and the key of the twilight. However, a lot of my friends teased my character because, most of them don't watch .hack//sign and immediately mistook my name for a character in my little pony...(Which I do not watch) I also found out that there is a human pic if this said character with purple hair and a darker tone..so it made the teasing worse lol. But I can assure you, I was not aware of any of this and it is mere coincidence. -_-
