What's the story behind your character's name?

Kouji Geki is the twin brother in Jinryas story that he write. His twin Brother's name is Ryajin. If we are allow to name change I most likely change it to Rilion Odinson. Who by the name some can guess is, the son of Odin that i made up in a story of mine.

Teloc Arioch is my name.

Teloc means Death in Enochian.

Ok bear with me here, this may take a bit of explaining.

Now, back when I played ffxi I knew someone named Sougetsu who was elvaan. So when I made an elvaan I thought I'd name it after him as sort of an homage, so I named my character Souge.... it took me longer than I care to admit to realize that when I sounded that out it became "Sooo Gay". So I wanted to keep the same name structure and I ended up changing the g to a b, so my elvaan was named Soube.

Now my favorite zone in FFXI was Lufaise Meadows/Misareux Coast. I didn't want my last name to be Misareux Coast, so I shortened Misareux into simply Miseux.

And Voila!

I hate to wreck this for you, but does it sound like SoBe? I know the extra U changes it sufficiently for many languages.

But I actually got it from a Metallica song called Astronomy. The song was first made by blue oyster cult.

But they have it spelled Desdenova.

But I like Destinova better ^_^. So it was, I Destinova was born!!!

Edit: on farther reading from that series they acutally got Desty Nova from the same place I did ^_^.

Sephre Rosewood was the name we picked out for our kid if it was a girl. two babies later, no girl so i used this name for my female chr's in games. Zakarn is the main chr of my book and is a deviation of the initials i always used in arcade games when i had a high score (ZAK). I used Rosewood as his last name to symbolize they are both of the same person/family/account.

I've just been using Max since my first video game, although it isn't my real name. When I ran into my first game that asked for a last name too (persona 4), I just chose Wind and stuck with it for every game asking for a first and last name.

Yes, I have actually read most of these..Was worth the time.

Anera was created by taking all the letters of my full real life name and assigning numbers to the letters. Than I would pick 5 numbers (because i wanted my name to be 5 letters long) and that would spell out a name. It took a few trys to get something I thought sounded nice. Someone in game pointed out that Anera backwards is "arena". I so didn't mean to do that, but its cool.

For my last name I wanted something related to moons since I was making a Moon Keeper. Rhea is Saturn's 2nd largest moon. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhea_%28moon%29)
Also in Greek mythology Rhea is Cronus's wife and mother of the Greek Gods. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhea_%28mythology%29)

When I played ff11 I played a Hume, but I always enjoyed watching the animations mithra's would do in my parties, and sometimes wished I would of made a Mithra instead of a hume, I simple thought Mithra's were just adorable.

When FF14 came out I decided to make a Miqote (Mithra), but had no idea what name to use, since Miqote's are so adorable I tried to make a name with the word adorable in it, but I felt that my character needed to have an actual name, instead of a definition or place or object as my name, so I wrote down adorable on a piece of paper and tried to turn it into a name coming up with adorra, next I needed a last name, I wanted a last name that would sound catchy with adorra but also have character to go along in a fantasy world, after a long time I came up with Adorra Eloom.
