Tessa jalloh comes from one of the many african languages, i can't remember which one.

But i chose it when deciding the name for my dervish in guild wars nightfall. If i remember it meant roughly 'Warrior of Holy light'

I read that Lalafell have the same sound at the end of their first name as they have in their last name. I took Tama from Tamama from Sgt Frog, and Lala from Lalafell.

- It's okay because in ARR I'm going to a kawaii WHM Lalafell.

Back in 2004, I used the FFXI name generator when I created my female Tarutaru character. After cycling through dozens and dozens of names, I liked Tsakiki the best. It was unique, and we ended up mostly called her 'Kiki ("the 'tsa' is silent," I'd quip). Of course it did draw a lot of references to the Mediterranean yogurt dish, tzatziki, and my old blog got more hits from people looking for tzatziki recipes than FFXI information, but I am still fond of the name.



When FFXIV rolled around, I decided I would create the Lalafell equivalent, basically Kiki Version 2.0, and Kiki Tsakiki seemed a fitting name. I wish it followed the proper female Dunesfolk nomenclature standars (a-a-b a-b), but it doesn't feel right to change it now.

My NPC Companion has the ignoble name of Cat Girl, my retainers had random game names modified to end with -iki, and my chocobo is named Apocalypse, since it amuses me to summon Apocalypse at will.

[Gamester]

In games I call myself Gamester since ages, which is a combo of Game and the brand Starter (which I liked very much like almost 20 years ago).

In FFXI it was just Gamester since we had to take two names in FFXIV I wanted to name my Char Gamester Ni (Ni = jp 2) the second incarnation of Gamester in FF online games so to speak, but it had to be at least three characters so I named the Char Gamester Nii.

If Gamester is chosen in forums or anything else I always go Gamester2097 ( because of WipeOut 2097 which is one of my favourite games )

Rekarus was just a name I made up on the spot one day and added it to my list of possible usernames.

Lios is part of my old user name for other games like FFXI flipped around, Dgsoil, which was complete gibberish and often got me mistaken for a gil seller.

My chocobo was named after a friend's user name, Shaiming, who was a constant static partner in most situations.

My retainers are Dgsoil (once again, just gibberish) and Nighteyes who was named after another person in my life's mule.

I've always wondered if you were a Galka I knew from Seraph. Mainly because of the type of artwork in your sig.

I was in Gilgamesh. A Galka named Table. I doubt people would have memories of me. I didn't get to play very often and rarely outside of my group.
I was also abhorrently shy.
