We have been getting low rez images and video since 1.0 release. Can we please get images and video in a decent resolution for 2.0 and onward?

The resolution of the images you have been giving us are lower than standard dvd, which was released in 1995. That's 17 years old this year...

actually 1920x1080 is considered 1080 res, so 7680x4320 would be 4k. dunno if 8k is just a mix-up or just the next step they are working on. that'd be useful for projectors and those 100+inch monitors though i guess. not so much for standard TV on PC monitors. cause you already barely see pixels in 1080.

Currently two resolutions are called UHDTV:

if i get 3 more monitors it will still be way cheaper then a new 4K TV i can play at 5760x2160, currently my max is 5760x1080

No, this has been what they've been doing since the very start. Even when they teased jobs and other features during 1.0 they'd release it in super low-res screenshots.

Not to mention if they were so worried about "imperfections" they wouldn't be posting all these gameplay videos from alpha now would they?
