So that's:
5 Data centres for the US, 6 if you include South America
5 or more Data centres for Europe
3 for Australia plus another for New Zealand.
1 in Japan
5 more if covering Russia and asia
I think I see an issue with this.



I did not say one data center per time zone. As far as I know, SE may put 2 data centers in the US. One on the east coast, and the other in the west.

I doubt that will happen, they have are located in California so prolly Datacenter would be there. Eastcoast would have badluck, same gonna happen with a bunch of countries in EU that don't have Datacenters in their Timezones. You would need to seperate the Servers on the Datacenters in Timezones again to make this work properly.
In fact we would end with an Serversystem like many other MMO's where ppl get seperated totally cause of language etc. Datacenter are allready the 1st step in this direction but seperating cause of timezone would even make this worse.
